Gus Kittson Sr. created Kittson Salvage

Gus Kittson Sr. created Kittson Salvage, buying and reselling WWII electrical materials, out of an office on the south side of Kennewick Ave. between Cascade and Dayton (now antique shops).
1956
Moved to Current Location

Moved to 113 E Ave C, in a small building that is now half of the Kennewick Plumbing Showroom. Changed name to Kennewick Industrial and Electrical Supply Company.
1962
Opened First Showroom

Began selling plumbing supplies.
Opened first decorative lighting showroom.
1964
Began Selling Irrigation Supplies

Opened Hermiston, OR Location

Originally opened as Hermiston Electric & Plumbing Supply, KIE Hermiston is still located at 80484 US-395, Hermiston, OR.

Gus Kittson Jr.

Gus Kittson Sr. passed away. His son Gus Kittson Jr. takes over as President of the company.
